It is tax day, and what is really going on other than millions of us hardworking middle class getting taken to the cleaners as well as stressing over doing (or as in my case, having someone else) our taxes? Tax time is another example of poor leadership at the top, middle and lower levels of government. In order to get elected politicans promise everyone everything, and a lot of us fall for it forgetting where the money to fund these promises comes from-the hard working tax payers. As I have said before, my real concern about large government programs is that they build dependency in people, as well as undermine the meritocracy that has helped fuel our great nation. Essentially, it says that if we had problems with global guerrillas during a period of massive wealth creation, we are in a world of hurt during a period of massive wealth destruction.
Very sure that anything I say do won’t make any difference.  However, it can’t be said I didn’t try.
