I spent that last wonderful week at Fort Benning, The Warrior Infantry Conference, and also down at Fort Monroe. It was a good week because I got to see a lot of old faces, meet some new ones, and continue to work with good people in pushing a new training doctrine on the Army, as well as use of a new teaching methodology.
So, over a few posts, I will discuss or review,
1. The Infantry Warrior Conference
2. The Confederate Naval Museum at Columbus GA, yes Columbus GA
3. America’s Fitness Coach Dave Hubbard as well as his new book
4. Moving forward with Outcomes Based Training and Education (OBT&E) and Adaptive Leader Methodology (ALM)

Don,
I traveled to Fort Leonard Wood with COL Haskins last week, and we have a good visit. COL Haskins gave a talk to a large audience of officers and NCOs from across the post (took place in one of the big auditoriums in the MANSCEN Building). After that, we broke down into smaller discussion groups. I took charge of the company commanders and a handfull of 2LTs who were there ’snow-birding’ before attending BOLC. It was a great discussion, and I have been corresponding with the commanders about OBT&E quite a bit over the past few days since our return. Like an insurgency, we push on!
