Here’s the testimony I’ll be giving to
Congressman Ike Skelton and his HASC (House Armed Services) subcommittee on Thursday. It’s very short and sweet and somewhat of a snowmobile (as per John Boyd, in that it attempts to combine current trends in new ways to build more effective models and frameworks for decision making) since it includes an analysis of the impact of the current economic meltdown on security.
Essentially, it says that if we had problems with global guerrillas during a period of massive wealth creation, we are in a world of hurt during a period of massive wealth destruction.
Very sure that anything I say do won’t make any difference. However, it can’t be said I didn’t try.
